Ideal at the price
This helmet is a good compromise between full face and xc open face, it's light enough to be used for aggressive xc trails offering an extra level of protection. I looked on YouTube seeing footage of someone flexing the chin piece but in reality it is quite study and should at least deflect significant impacts in a crash situation.

Fit is spot on so the sizing is quite accurate, I have a 57cgm head and the M/L size fits correct with the thicker pads. The Sara pads allow you to mix and match thickness for the front, top and back of the helmet.

Overall, this is well made helmet, it would be nice if the chin piece was quick release however this would probably compromise the strength.

For aggressive xc riders this is recommended.
