Good carrier
Simple to fit to the car and carries bikes high enough to clear number plate so does a good job. A bit tricky to wiggle bikes into the correct position on the carrier if they aren't open framed mens' bikes, but the price is very good and overall I'm happy with the product.

Sturdy carrier
Bought this carrier to carry two bikes clear of the numberplate and lights.

It took a little while to get the angles of the various elements just right for my car (Passat saloon) but once I was happy it all locked together well.

The bikes are carried above the lights and plates but the carrier frame does still obscure the number plate somewhat. Not sure whether the Law (on a bad day) would take issue with this. Much better than my old carrier where the bikes obscured lights and plate. However, obviously the high carry does mean that you need to lift the bikes high to get them on the rack. Easy to get dirt/oil on your clothes if not careful!

It has fittings for up to three bikes, but I think you would struggle to fit three. Has plastic straps to hold bikes firmly. I find these a little tricky to fix and remove but they seem sturdy.

Generally very pleased with this unit.
