Good workshop bike stand.
Good solid product for the money!!
The stand is made from all metal tubes and castings at the joints,
the castings are a little crude but solid enough.There are plastic feet which have to be hammered on to raise the metal off the floor.
assembley was easy and fairly quick. Allen keys supplied.
The foot print of the assmbled stand is quite large, but this gives it the stablilty required.
the bike clamp is padded with rubber to avoid damage to the frame, and can be adjusted to almost any frame size, it also includes a quick release mechanism. the head/clamp assembley can be orientated to any required position.
Well reccommeded for home workshop use if you have got the space!!

I don't know whether some of the people giving this poor reviews have a clue about engineering but i feel they may be better of letting a bike shop look at their bikes.
The stand is great for the money. Some of the assembly takes a little care but with a bit of knowledge of flat pack it's a sinch. All bike stands should clamp to the seat post and NOT a frame member. This has been designed for this and not for the odd shaped frame spars you get on a lot of mountain bikes these days. The top support tube will rotate easily if you apply a small amount of oil/grease during assembly and the same goes for the back tube. The only concern is the clamp. It seems a little crude and the casting is a little rough. I have been careful when adjusting the jaw gap and have tried to monitor the pressure the jaws apply to the seat post. Had the stand for about 2 years now and it's never let me down. Also the feet could do with a little glue applied so they don't rotate on the arms.
