Assos Chamois Cream
I have not tried other brands, but have Assos bibshorts and this product works well with them. I started using cream after a saddle sore developed.
I know some people use Sudafed, but this is smoother and has a Deep Heat type effect which presumably stimulates the blood flow in the sensitive areas.
The only problem I have with the cream is remembering to pit it on!!

Great for longer rides
If you do any medium to longer rides on the bike this is a worthwhile purchase - essentially it will prevent chafing and acts as a lubricant to prevent friction and rubbing. I haven't tried any other chamois creams so can't really compare, but I can't see me changing when this is so good.
