The 2012 summer in London has been declared to be the second wettest summer since the beginning of weather recordings. I had to keep my bike outside during this season and needed a decent rain cover for that reason. The Bike Parka keep my bicycle absolutely dry. I would often find a pool of water on top of the cover that was collected after heavy rain, but there were no leakages at all. Also when the weather was very humid and warm you would expect condensation to collect under the cover but this does not happen either - seems the ventilation openings on the side do their job well. It is pretty light and dries off quickly. The fabric reminds me of those that is used for kites. It also seems to have been treated with a water repellant. This might need to be re applied at some point, but it's too early for me to be able to tell, as I had this cover for only half a year now.
