Great lock
Have had this lock now for 6 weeks and has served it's purpose well. It is not a high security product, the cable itself isn't very thick and I wouldn't leave my bike at a train station all day for instance if I was commuting, but if you are popping down to the shops or to the pub it is perfect. It is very easy to use, just turn the top where the key hole is and the cable winds back into the bottle body, the cable itself is long enough to go around the front wheel and the back wheel and then into the lock( so quick release wheels are safe). The bottle itself is ever so slightly narrower than a standard water bottle so it rattles a bit in a standard bottle cage, but my cage is aluminium so I just bent it in a little and now it grips it perfectly.
I love the clever design of this product, I have struggled with other cable locks in the past, if you attach them with the supplied bracket they look unsightly and rattle as you ride, if you bungee them to your pannier it takes too long,...
