Ok but a little shaky!
As takes its own route rear wheel can mpve a little making it a victim of punctures.

Quick release parts are cheap and are in fairness not that quick release - wife struggles with the "quick release" so it does not get used!

It is a shame that cheap parts were used - the handlebars have slipped - the bolt I only adjested once and thread went due to the softness of the cheap parts!

Brilliant - worth every penny!
Decided to buy this product as I like to cycle and have 2 pugs who love to walk (but just not as far as I like to cycle). Thought this would allow me to take the dogs on cycle rides where they can take a rest when they need it but also allows them to be safe if I come across roads. When the trailer arrived I was delighted with the quality of it - very sturdy and easy to assemble. The pop off wheels make it so easy to get into the car and the added bonus is that it fits neatly into the boot, but I do have a Land Rover so it doubles up as a travelling crate! Just had a fantastic weekend of cycling where the trailer was well used (comfortably housed 2 pugs and yorkshire terrier) and was very easy to pull, manoeuvred really well over bumpy ground too. The dogs like it (they jump in readily) and underneath it provided welcome shade from the sun when we stopped for a rest. Well thought out and solidly built, excellent value for money
Bought this trailer to carry our 12 year old spaniel, who can no longer run with us as we cycle. It's very well thought out (copy of more expensive version?) and well built, using high quality materials. Wheels are quick release and trailer folds down to about 3 inches high with release of one pin (arm to cycle folds under with release of another pin). Attaches to cycle using supplied small but solid hinged bracket, again quick release, plus safety strap in the same way as trailers for cars. front and back zipped entrance with mesh windows, and rain cover at front. Not light, but once on bike it trails very well and carries our 18kg dog v easily with lots of room inside. Best on tarmac and flat tracks, and on the flat and downhill it's excellent; weight going uphill is considerable (I often walk!) and wouldn't fancy long distances but I can't see how any such trailer would be much different... Fantastic
I just wanted to say have used the trailer in anger 3 times now and it is fantastic.

However my first outing was not without its problems so I thought I would share a few things I learned with you in case any of you were thinking of buying.

The first trip was after dark and in rush hour, in a particularly hilly bit of London. On the first downhill my rucksack containing my D-lock slid across the trailer and went into one of my wheels bending a spoke and throwing the wheel out of its housing. (Though: luckily not completely free.)

Lesson one: Make sure nothing can slide into the wheels while they are moving.

I was able to stop and fix this on the road side without out any tools which was good because I had headed off without any. But getting the wheel trued (straightened) later cost us

This tag-along was cheaper than any other I could find, but it is not an inferior product. It feels well made, the paint finish is a nice metallic and all the parts are of a similar quality to a child's bike in this price range. It comes partly assembled, needing the pedals, saddle and bars attaching before use, along with a flag that isn't shown in the product info. This doesn't take long, even though no instructions are provided.

The tow hitch needs the towing bike's seat to be removed, as it is a pretty solid piece of metal that slides over the seat post before being firmly clamped in place. Buy a tag along bike instead
Although it is a good concept, the bracket on the child's bike is not suitable. Even when over-tightened, it still very quickly starts to come loose which means their bike tilts. Although it is not really dangerous, it is more or less unusable.

I will now throw this away and get a tag along bike instead for almost the same cost. It is a shame because my daughter would rather use her own bike instead of a tag along, however this system simply does not work properly

The item is well built and works well. It was initially a bit fidly to fit and is not that user friendly when taking on and off. I also think it is slightly over priced. However, it does it's job well enough.

Fantastic - with a caveat
The Good
I was surprised, collecting it from the couriers depo (why do couriers bother attempting to deliver to house addresses without a phone call/text first?) as it was so light!
Took me an hour to put it together - though it's only 5 bolts and nuts - tools supplied. Very simple to put together though the top cross bar, which is supposed to 'slot' in and out to enable the trailer to collapse, does need considerable effort initially as the canvas fits perfectly.i.e. lie it on it's side and with a foot on one side - heave. Maybe the canvas cover fitting was cut at the minimum on mine trailer and others may 'slot in' with ease.
I didn't quite know what to expect for the price - which is THE cheapest trailer on Amazon but I'm amazed at the quality. Inside the trailer are two pockets on either side for books or small items and space behind the seat for a couple of shopping bags. The labelling on the seat states 40kg, not 35kg as advertised and it has three harnesses - for...

great little run around
great little trailer for running the errands with, often carry paint and other products from the diy shop back to the workshop. its even done a shopping trip at 4am to pick up the weekly shop (3 bags isn't much of a chore to tow). i find it very easy to tow and so far its been great... until today, a creak that i thought had gone away came back today, as pulled across a large junction the bearings in one of the wheels locked up. unfortunately for me the damage is too extensive to repair.. however the fact that the parts that are damaged should be replaceable,with little effort, bring me hope to getting on the road once again tugging along my little trailer as soon as i can.
