Buy a tag along bike instead
Although it is a good concept, the bracket on the child's bike is not suitable. Even when over-tightened, it still very quickly starts to come loose which means their bike tilts. Although it is not really dangerous, it is more or less unusable.

I will now throw this away and get a tag along bike instead for almost the same cost. It is a shame because my daughter would rather use her own bike instead of a tag along, however this system simply does not work properly

Nice Item, bit pricey
The item is well built and works well. It was initially a bit fidly to fit and is not that user friendly when taking on and off. I also think it is slightly over priced. However, it does it's job well enough.

Stans no tubes conversion kit
I've converted my tyres on my boardman HT pro mountain bike about 6 months ago using this kit and haven't looked back since.
I have standard rims (mavic xm319) and standard tyres (conti xking 2.2), neither of which are tubeless ready.

I used to get quite a few pinch flats especially on the rear, and I haven't had any problems for a solid 6 months riding since going tubeless.

I had the initial fitting done at my local bike shop but after coming off my bike and burping the front tyre off decided to have a go at fixing it myself. I soon found out that it is impossible to get the tyre seated using a traditional floor pump. Using a CO2 cannister however solves the problem immediately, as you need to get a large volume of air into the tyre to get it to pop on.

Overall, I would recommend going tubeless as it has worked very well for me, but:
- follow the set up instructions carefully on the stans notubes website
- use plenty of soapy water...
