UNBELIEVABLY USEFUL
I bought this after looking round at the bewildering array of bags on offer, and after going on a ride with some very 'seasoned' riders who used similar bags. I used a small rucksack to stuff all my bits in ~ first aid kit, light fleece, food, etc; and they just popped theirs in to the bag bag. They had immediate access ~ I didn't; they could access whilst riding ~ I couldn't; they had a map to hand ~ I didn't; so I bought one. Not the cheapest bag on the market, and the map case has a rather dubious reputation of falling apart and not being the right size for an OS map, but I print my maps onto A4 rather than taking the whole map, so not an issue; and so far, it has stayed together.

Over all I am delighted with the bag.

One small thing to note; I didn't realize that it came WITH the bar mount, so I bought one as well. All this means is that I am few 'quid' lighter, but I have two mounts on different bikes which make this even more versatile.
