Good safe commuter helmet
I use an old bell citi which has been fantastic for my daily commute but these are out of production so when my son needed a new helmet for his daily paper round I looked for a similar/upgraded version from Bell.
Apparently this is the improved upgrade?
One of the little built in lights failed almost immediately, (a criticism I have seen on other forums). The other issue with the lights is that they are too low down (below the helmet shell) and are easily hidden in the winter by coat hoods/high collars. My son doesn't even bother turning the one remaining light on now as he considers it a worthless gimmick, annoying as it is one of the main reasons that I brought the helmet in the first place. The fastener is a little awkward compared with other designs. The helmet doesn't come with a cover as standard.
Overall a little disappointing, saved only by my impression that it looks substantial/safe
