Fantastic idea!!
These lights don't just look "funky" but are extremely useful in telling car drivers and pedestrians where you are intending to go. The main reason I looked for something like this was that I had started cycling to work and part of my return journey meant a sweeping left turn where the road forked and bent round to the right, this was at the bottom of a steep part and the road surface quite uneven. So travelling down at speed and trying to indicate left with my arm out and just holding the handlebar with my right hand while trying to apply some pressure to the FRONT brake and travelling over bumpy ground was a little unnerving to say the least! These indicators eliminate all that and I now whoosh down into the left turn with a smile on my face :)

The company who made them are also brlliant! I had some problem with the rear unit, (my fault I think) but they were great and sorted me out very quickly and efficiently.

The lights (and indicators) to have on your bike...

The idea's solid...
...but the implementation leaves a little to be desired.

First off, all buyers should be aware of the small print that is on the back of the packaging, stating that these lights are subject to malfunction if they get wet. So if it happens to rain where you are, they're not great.

Also the rear bracket has an innovative feature that allows it to swivel so that you don't end up leaning your bike on your rear light, or smashing the thing if your bike falls over. However, it's not the most robust connection in the world, and hitting a bump in the road may send your rear light bouncing away across a lane of traffic.

Mine were purchased locally, and they'll be going back soon. I'm currently trying to work out if I can a) waterproof them sensibly without diminishing their function and b) fix the...
