Oh, if only it would rain...
It is impossible to buy full-length mudguards here, so I've had to resort to getting them sent. Those token jobs that are ubiquitous nowadays just don't do the job. Any water about and you get wet from the knees down, as well as in the face and up the back. Since I don't wear cycling gear for my 5km commute, it is a drag arriving with wet shoes on the few days in the year when it rains.
The SKS mudguards are easy enough to fit. All the nuts and bolts needed were in the pack and everything appears to be stainless, which is good here by the sea. I did need to cut the stays by about 15mm to get them to fit -not easy with an old hacksaw and no bench! About an hour to complete the task of fitting, I would say. I have a rack on the back of the bike and that presented no problem, even fixing the stays to the frame. There is no rattling or any other problem now they are fitted.
It hasn't rained since I fitted them, but another benefit is that the grit that used to sting my legs when...

The absolute business
Really good. They're no fuss whatsoever, reasonably easy to fit, don't need adjustment after the initial setup, and simply work.

The front keeps the rain and mud from spraying up from the front wheel at speed, and the back one means I now come back from a muddy ride with mud splattered up my back, but only a little. Without the mudguards my backpack was literally plastered with mud.

Don't do off-road in the mud whilst wearing your best suit (grin) -- but these mudguards work really well, don't get in the way, look fine and they're easy to clean.

FYI mine are mounted on a Cube Attention MTB and fit perfectly.

Pricey but good
Mudguards for mountain bikes seem to be a hit or miss affair. Getting ones that keep the aggresive look of some bikes can be hard, but I reckon they have it sorted here. Attaching them was a doddle, although I'm still not sure the front one may come loose at some point, I'll just have to wait and see. As for the practical side of things, they do their job.
