Cool trike, rubbish diagrams
This was the first tricycle that I have built but, I have built many bicycles. I started the assembly process and I was flying through the build until it came to the rear axle installation. The lower part of the front frame axle slot had been bent slightly in transit.
So I straightened it up but, I needed then to have a detailed look at the diagram of how the front frame and the rear axle frame had to be aligned. I could not tell whether it was meant to go inside the frame or outside! The diagram was just a dark blob! Could not get an idea from it at all. I contacted the seller to see if they had a better diagram and they phoned me and told me that they didn't have a better diagram. They afford to build it for me for free, if I took it 45 miles away to their shop! I said thank you but, I would rather build it myself, he said that he would contact the wholesaler and ring me but...but no call :-)
I even contacted the manufacturer, but nothing back :-) I looked through the...
Possibly a good trike let down by rubbish instructions.
As might be expected, the assemby "instructions" are rubbish. I can't reccommend this. Maybe there's a good trike lurking underneath...
