Details of the item Ortlieb OF5408 Dots Back-Roller Classic Design - QL1 40ltr Panniers - Sun Yellow / Orange

From Oslo to Cape Town, ORTLIEB Back and Front-Rollers have long since been classics among waterproof bike panniers. Outdoor specialists swear by the functional and strong system of front and rear bag loading on both sides. No matter whether you bike forest tracks or desert roads, cross canyons or rivers, the extremely durable outer fabric has proven its strength in numerous real tests. These are not the only reasons why the all weather solution was awarded several times by the bicycle press: hermetical roll closures, shoulder straps and the ORTLIEB QL System ensure that food and equipment are not only protected 100% but also accessible at any time.

Bike panniers
they are lovely, big, beautiful and seem strong. had few problems fitting them but other than that perfect and i love them

Good product. But came with wrong instructions.
I got these panniers as they go really well with my Bobbin bicycle. They are shower proof and I can fit 2 bags of shopping in them.

However. One complaint. The product arrived with the wrong assembly instructions. They were for the basket instead. Not a disaster just poor service.

Otherwise. Now they are on I love them as a useful but stylish addition to my bike.

Good Quality
I bought this bike for my 2 year old. It's slightly too bit at the moment, but I want it to last and the build quality looks like it will do just that.

The break lever is easy to pull. The only niggle I had was that the moving parts like headset needed adjusting and greasing to get it smooth.

retro cycling jersey
Very nice quality retro cycling jersey with 3 rear pockets. I normally am a large size in ordinary clothes but decided to buy the X large size, which proved to be the right choice. It fitted me like a glove. If you are thinking of buying this jersey I recommend buying a size larger than your normal size, because the cut is rather skimpy and the sleeves may be tight.

Good Purchase
The delivery was very quick. The bike was easy to assemble.
If I have one small note of complaint is that the rear mud guard was scratch,
no thin plastic film covering like front mud guard but
considering the price it was an excellent buy and wife totally happy.
Wife has told me it is a nice bike easy to handle, very nifty.

Brooks swallow saddle
Everything I expected, prompt delivery, quality product and well packed. These saddles seem very unforgiving at first but after a couple of hundred miles or so and using Brooks own Proofide as directed the comfort increases to the point where you wonder how you could manage on any other perch !

Brooks Swallow B15
What a beauty this saddle is.

The only draw back is 10 days ago I fell off my bike in France and broke my left arm.

but the glorious conker brown saddle sits on my mantle for me to admire until

I am healed.

The order arrived promptly and was well packaged

Cool trike, rubbish diagrams
This was the first tricycle that I have built but, I have built many bicycles. I started the assembly process and I was flying through the build until it came to the rear axle installation. The lower part of the front frame axle slot had been bent slightly in transit.
So I straightened it up but, I needed then to have a detailed look at the diagram of how the front frame and the rear axle frame had to be aligned. I could not tell whether it was meant to go inside the frame or outside! The diagram was just a dark blob! Could not get an idea from it at all. I contacted the seller to see if they had a better diagram and they phoned me and told me that they didn't have a better diagram. They afford to build it for me for free, if I took it 45 miles away to their shop! I said thank you but, I would rather build it myself, he said that he would contact the wholesaler and ring me but...but no call :-)
I even contacted the manufacturer, but nothing back :-) I looked through the...

Possibly a good trike let down by rubbish instructions.
As might be expected, the assemby "instructions" are rubbish. I can't reccommend this. Maybe there's a good trike lurking underneath...

Excellent.
Solidy built, reasonable weight, excellent capacity, and completely resistant to fluids, including rain, sleet, slush, snow, spilled coffee and an unidentified substance sprayed from a 2nd storey window in one of the more stylish (but less inhibited and possibly less sanitary) neighbourhoods in Shoreditch.

Fantastic Sized Bags
I took a long time and a lot of feedback from colleagues as to which panniers I was to buy. Only got them today but am not disappointed. Has a handy divider inside to put any personal bits in and is so easy to adjust to fit your bags to your bike. Not really wishing for any rain yet to try out the waterproof feature but friends already have these and are more than satisfied. Worth every penny. Is worth shopping around though as I saved myself nearly
