I absolutely LOVE this bicycle basket - it's easy to assemble, it's easy to attach, and it's all wipe clean. When I have had bicycle baskets in the past they've either been a wicker basket, which has proved quite heavy, or the type which just hook onto your handlebars - both make steering rather awkward - either through its weight or through its propensity to make you 'wobble'. This does neither; it's light and securely fastens to the handlebars - perfect!

Sweet Basil
This basket was purchased for my husband's battery trike to replace one that had become extremely battered. He does miles around the local countryside with his terrier for company & the dog loves his new transport. The basket has a close mesh & is very sturdy. The sprung fastenings were the wrong size for his carrier but we have bolted it on as he doesn't wish to remove it. The USP was the name badge on the basket - my husband is called Basil!

Nice looking basket
I bought this, as a friend had received one with her new bike and I liked the look of it. However, it was very difficult to attach to the support on my own. I subsequently helped my friend attach hers and found it much easier with another person to steady the basket, while the other fixed it.

Just a word of warning - my friend's basket was bought as a package with a new bike and the supplier included the leather straps which attach the basket to the handlebars. In the picture on the Amazon site it looks like the straps are there and you are not told they are not. The basket arrived strapless and I had to order them separately, which was just an additional irritation.

Very Ms Marple and I love it!
Love this fab addition to my bike but please note that you have to order the leather straps seperately to secure it in place for more heavier items.
