Stylish and useful

Be Seen
Was a bit wary when I purchesed this light as I was unsure how stable it would be considering the bracket. As it is a Lezyne (which I highly rate) I thought I'd take the plunge and bought it. I am very pleased overall with the product. The strap which holds the light is nice and tight but could maybe stretch over time and I think the makers should give two straps? Light is great and highly visible, with four different modes. Holds charge well. Product is charged via USB which is stuck to the product (no cable) and is found when unscrewing the back. The only negative is the switch which I find you have to press rather hard to put on and off and to get the different modes, unlike the other Leyzane light that I have. For the price, and for a rechargable product and a smart design I am very pleased.

I saw this pump selected in a survey of the best mini pumps and can see why it got such good reviews. It is very well designed and well made and well worth the money. Unlike many other mini pumps it uses a traditional hose between the pump and the tyre valve, thus reducing the pressure on the valve itself and risk of tearing it from the inner tube. The hose has a presta attachment one end and a schrader the other and even an air release valve, All in all it's a lovely bit of kit. It comes in two sizes small and medium and make sure you order the right one as some of the Amazon listings are not that clear and you might need to check the sizes listed against the manufacturer's own website. One retailer was advertising as a small but the sizes were for a medium, so I went elsewhere. As a back up pump and something that I hope not to have to use that often, I love it.

This light produces brilliant illumination for the price, but before you buy this light, have a look it its handlebar mount. The large rubber attachment is adaptable to all sizes of handlebar, but the cradle into which the light clips is not strong enough. The first ride I made on our pot-holed lanes, the light which appeared firmly held, jumped out. Fortunately it did not break and still works. My previous light - a Cateye had a more reliable slotted attachment.

A well designed and constructed bicycle pump
Having tried numerous pumps over the years, this is the best of its kind I've recently used. Sensible design that uses a flexible tube to connect pump to valve rather than the more common, and frequently problematic, 'push-on' type. Knocked a star off because it seems a bit pricey and the pump holder (which attaches to cycle) isn't well designed. The holder leaves the pump in a slightly vulnerable position, as it fits sideways offset from the frame tube. The holder also relies on a velcro strap to securely fix the pump to the holder and if it's not sufficiently tight, the pump begins to open out/extend itself whilst cycling.

Comfortable to use, the pump reaches 90psi without undue effort but I imagine it would need a bit of heft to get much above 100psi. Lost count of the number of strokes taken to reach 90psi from a flat 700x35C tyre but this won't be your main pump and you can't expect a low volume pump to defy physics.

4 stars for the light, 2 for the fixing
This is a great product, but there are a few niggles with it. Firstly the plusses - I've had both front and rear lights for about 5 months now and have used them on various country bike runs in all weathers without incident (well sort of, but more of that later). The lights seem robust, waterproof and easy to charge (although I found it helpful to use a short USB extension cable when I used a plug to charge it (it kept the light from sticking out too much from the plug socket).

On the negative side whilst both lights are very clear and bright, they don't have a very wide beam and so perhaps wouldn't be that visible if seen from an acute angle. Not much of a problem on country lanes, but might be an issue with city traffic where vehicles may be approaching you from the side (at merging junctions, changing lanes etc).

The major issue for me was the how the rear light is fixed to the bracket. One end of the light is snapped into a u-shaped clip but if it's not...

Very bright rear light
A great rear light unless your unlucky enought to be cycling or driving behind it! The attachment does give me cause for concern but an o ring adds a bit of safety. You have to spend laot more on a Hope ight to get much brighter.
