Topeak Bar Bag
Good quality bag. Easy to fit onto handlebars. Useful internal compartments. ie: you can just about fit a small hand pump inside. One downside is that when the bar bag is fitted it doesn't leave much room for a front light fitting. Still overall a good buy.

An OK little bag, shame about the bracket
The TourGuide HB bag is both smart looking and well padded with a number of handy internal and zippered external pockets. It has both a detachable waterproof cover and transparent map holder. This bag can be removed from it's mounting and carried using it's integral handle or used a shoulder bag with the supplied shoulder strap.

However...this handlebar bag is smaller than I had anticipated and the internal pockets are too tight to really be of serious use. The deal breaker is the mounting bracket. It is supplied with two sets of adapters for either standard or oversize bars [25.4, 28.6 & 31.8mm]. It will not fit on anything thinner. I have a Jones H-Bar on my bike and at 22mm, the bag won't fit. There are no alternative adapters either. The other issue is the mounting bracket. Having tried this on another handlebar, I found the handlebar mounting procedure pretty straightforward enough. The problem is that it is a very tight fit and requires a fair amount of force to...

IDEAL FOR CAMERAS.
For the last few years I have been carrying my camera gear about in a Lowepro backpacker, however on taking up cycling i found that strapping this to my rear rack was not an ideal solution for transporting my kit; Apart from all the straps getting caught in the wheels, as we all know those photogenic moments, ie, a sudden light change, a red squirrel sat at the base of a tree a few yards in front of you, only last for minutes, and by the time i had dismounted my bike and fumbled to get my camera out that chance for a great pic had gone for ever.
Having decided the best solution was a handle bar bag, I looked at quite a few but none seemed to fit the bill until I came across this one. The Top Peak has ample room for my cannon 450, plus a 70300 zoom, and macro lens, all well padded, and whats more my camera now is quickly accessible; The bag itself is quite rigid and has a spacious front pocket just the right size for maps and bits and bobs; It has a very secure quick release...

Doesn't fit
We have 2 bikes and the fixing bracket will fit the handlebars on neither of them. As other reviewers have I now have to manufacture my own shims from tube. Very poor.

Great bag
This bag support my Samsung Note 10.1 tab. Exact I may add. If the tab was 2 millimeter wider it would not work.
Very good quality and I am very pleased.

I miss one thing though: A small handle on the backside for carriage short distance.
For longer distance the shoulder strap is the thing.

(I am just about to mount a small handle to my bag)
