I haven't tested how waterproof or shower proof it is as I haven't been able to fit it to the bike securely enough.
The straps that fit around the cross bar are too long and can not be shortened. This means the bag can not be secured tightly enough around the cross bar. This means that for me, it moves and slides about far too much.
Over than that minor detail a great bag.

Stans no tubes conversion kit
I've converted my tyres on my boardman HT pro mountain bike about 6 months ago using this kit and haven't looked back since.
I have standard rims (mavic xm319) and standard tyres (conti xking 2.2), neither of which are tubeless ready.

I used to get quite a few pinch flats especially on the rear, and I haven't had any problems for a solid 6 months riding since going tubeless.

I had the initial fitting done at my local bike shop but after coming off my bike and burping the front tyre off decided to have a go at fixing it myself. I soon found out that it is impossible to get the tyre seated using a traditional floor pump. Using a CO2 cannister however solves the problem immediately, as you need to get a large volume of air into the tyre to get it to pop on.

Overall, I would recommend going tubeless as it has worked very well for me, but:
- follow the set up instructions carefully on the stans notubes website
- use plenty of soapy water...
